Mouse Telemetry
DSI offers multiple telemetry implants options for mice and similar sized animals that measure a variety of parameters.

The design of the implant allows for subcutaneous or intraperitoneal placement. PhysioTel® implants can be re-sterilized between uses, extending their life and reducing costs. To further reduce costs, researchers have found the DSI Exchange Program to be an incredible value.

PhysioTel® Hybrid Digital (HD) Implants

PhysioTel HD telemetry implants include new features that our clients have asked for to enhance data security, reduce study setup time, and maximize battery life:

  • Enhance data security with Animal ID: Each animal is paired to a receiver to ensure data collected is from the intended animal. This prevents data from accidentally being collected by the incorrect neighboring receiver.

  • Reduce study setup time with Auto-Calibration: Saves time because the software automatically downloads the factory programed calibrations, reducing human error and making lost calibrations an inconvenience of the past.

  • Maximize battery life with Battery On-Time Counter: Automatically tracks battery life and triggers an alarm in the software when remaining battery is low, ensuring data accuracy and quality product performance.
