Leaders in the Field of Electrophysiology Equipment for Researchers

Multi Channel Systems focuses on the development of precision scientific measuring instrumentation and equipment in the field of electrophysiology for research groups at universities and for the pharmaceutical industry. We provide solutions for extra-cellular recordings with microelectrode arrays in vitro and in vivo as well as for electrical stimulation. Over 20 years of experience and our international distribution network make us the global market leader in the field of non-clinical electrophysiology with microelectrode arrays. Moreover, we offer devices for automated RNA injection and for automated two-electrode voltage-clamp recording of Xenopus oocytes. Because of their modular principle, our products can be extended and adjusted to your specific experimental needs. Apart from their flexibility, our products fit into your laboratories because of their small footprint.

The MEA-Systems record, amplify, and analyze signals from biological samples in vitro or ex vivo. The data is analyzed by the included data acquisition software. MEA-Systems are used to record from brain or cardiac slices, neuronal or cardiac cultures, beta cell screening, ex vivo retina, cell lines, or stem cells. Advantages of Multi Channel MEA systems are long-term and repeated recordings, fast results,  unmatched sampling rate of up to 50 kHz per channel, and high-quality, low-impedance microelectrode arrays. Available options include 32 to 252 electrodes, as well as CMOS-Chips with 4225 electrodes, multiwell plates with up to 96-wells, and automated liquid handling for increased accuracy.
