7700 Series Signal Conditioners
Signal Conditioner Accessories
7700 Series Isolated/Defibrillation Protected ECG and General Purpose Probes
7700 Signal Conditioners are available for the ACQ-7700 Interface Unit. The 7700 series signal conditioners utilize a graphical user interface for configuration. This gives the researcher the capability to save amplifier settings within the software. The most popular and flexible is the Universal signal conditioner, which was specifically designed to provide an all-purpose or "Universal" input for physiological signals brought into the ACQ-7700 Acquisition Interface Unit. Other conditioners include the Advanced Basic modules to bring in a variety of laboratory signals as well as a Transducer signal conditioner designed specifically for pressure/strain measurements.

Carrier Signal Conditioner
The 13-7715-35 Carrier signal conditioner was designed to marry with the Validyne DP-45 and DP-250 Pressure Transducers for accurate pulmonary pressure, volume and flow measurements. Coupled with the Pulmonary Air Flow (PAF), Pulmonary Compliance and Resistance (PCR), and Unrestrained Plethysmography (URP) software analysis modules, DSI/Ponemah can record and analyze data from virtually any pulmonary application. Math Module
The 13-7715-09 Math Module utilizes a graphical interface for configuration of user specific math functions. These math functions can be applied to active channels collected from any 7700 series signal conditioner. Examples of the utility of the Math Module would include subtraction of two separate pressure channels, integration of bio-potentials, as well as statistical calculations. View Math Module PDF.
Advanced Basic DC 4 Signal Conditioner
A perfect solution to bringing in a variety of high level signals into the 7700 Series platform is the ABDC 4 Signal Conditioner, model 13-7715-04. This signal conditioner provides a simple connection to the analog output of many laboratory devices.
Advanced Basic DC 16 Signal Conditioner
The ABDC 16 signal conditioner, model 13-7715-03, allows simultaneous sampling of up to 16 sources at one time, making it a very affordable choice. The high sample rate allows this signal conditioner to be used for bringing in a wide range of signal types. The modular design of the ACQ-7700 Acquisition Interface allows multiple Basic 16 signal conditioners to be added providing increased channel counts for those who have an undetermined number of channels.
Advanced Basic DC 32 Signal Conditioner
The ABDC 32 signal conditioner, model 13-7715-02, allows simultaneous sampling of up to 32 sources at one time from just one module. Utilizing the input terminal box, connections can be made to the amplifier by simple BNC connections allowing for quick input changes. With its ability to take Bi-polar measurements, the signal can be truly maximized over the full scale. In addition to Bi-polar measurements, the data is recorded to 16 Bit resolution yielding extremely high precision.
Bridge/Transducer Signal Conditioner
The 13-7715-30 Bridge/Transducer signal conditioner provides the researcher with a variety of features. The Transducer delivers a continuously variable input range from 250 μV to 10 Volts. The 7700 series signal conditioners utilize a graphical user interface for configuration, which allows signal conditioner settings to be saved in the software. With transducer and DC voltage measurements, the Transducer signal conditioner can be used for a variety of pressure or tension measurements. Additionally, the Transducer delivers four channels per signal conditioner making it a very cost effective choice.
Universal Signal Conditioner
The most popular and flexible of the available signal conditioners is the Model 13-7715-58 Universal. The Universal signal conditioner, Model 13-7715-58, provides an all-purpose or “Universal” input for physiological signals brought into the ACQ-7700 Acquisition Interface Unit. The Universal signal conditioner has the ability to handle a wide variety of signals such as bio-potential signals, pulmonary pressure and flow signals, blood pressure and flow signals, temperature signals, and various other inputs. Thus, it eliminates the need to purchase numerous signal conditioners and amplifiers to achieve the same results as just one Universal signal conditioner.
Digital-to-Analog Module
The 13-7715-68 D/A Module features 16 channels of Digital-to-Analog output for use with other equipment. It provides Filtering, Output Resolution and user selectable Output Ranges as well as automatic calculation of Units/ Volts of the Output signal.
Transducer Signal Conditioner
The Transducer signal conditioner, model 13-7715-50, provides the researcher with a variety of features designed specifically for pressure and tension measurements. Filtering has been optimized in this signal conditioner for specific applications such as pulmonary pressures, blood pressures and isolated tissues. Additionally, the Transducer delivers the convenience of three channels per signal conditioner.
