Ponemah Tissue Platform

The Ponemah Tissue Platform is tailored specifically for isolated smooth muscle and pulsatile tissue applications. An online protocol window allows the user to monitor the progress of each individual bath and data is reported in spreadsheet format.

Each bath can accommodate a unique protocol or dose sequence. This flexibility allows multiple experiments to be performed simultaneously.  Additionally, sequence information can be entered prior to the experiment which gives the user not only recognition of the current step in the protocol but all steps for the experiment. This dose sequence information is logged by the system almost completely automating the data collection process.

Additional features allow for specific step determination, automatic calculation of % Maximum or % Inhibition for a given curve or curves, measurements taken relative to baseline, Synchronous or asynchronous bath triggering, EC50 calculations for each curve and a host of settings to further refine measured parameters.

The 7700 series signal conditioners are compatible with the Ponemah Tissue Platform. A choice of Acquisition interfaces is also available allowing complete system configuration based on user requirements.

ACQ-16 Acquisition Interface Unit

The ACQ-16 is part of the Life Science Suite, and is designed specifically to interface to the Ponemah Physiology Platform software. The ACQ-16 is a cost effective choice for interfacing to pre-conditioned, high-level signals, when the required number of channels does not exceed sixteen.

ACQ-7700 Acquisition Interface Unit

The ACQ-7700 is part of the Life Science Suite, and is designed specifically to interface to the Ponemah Physiology Platform software. The modular design allows the user to easily expand the number of available acquisition channels to a maximum of 64, through the installation of 7700 series signal conditioner modules. The 7700 series signal conditioners are designed to take in various signals, such as bio-potentials, blood pressures, pulmonary flows, tensions/forces, temperatures and even high-level inputs from other sensors.
