DSI Dataquest OpenART™ System Requirements
Recommended Minimum Computer Configuration
The Dataquest OpenART software will run on any computer system that meets the minimum requirements for the Windows XP Professional or Windows Vista Business Edition operating systems. We strongly recommend using a computer that exceeds these minimum requirements.
Windows XP Professional or Windows Vista Business Edition
- A Core 2 Duo E6750/2.66GHz, 1333MHz front side bus, 4 MB Cache
- One free PCI or PCI Express slot (free slot must correspond with users Data Acquisition card) –
The expansion slot must accommodate a full size card for both the PCI and PCI express cards. - 4 GB of RAM
- A hard drive with approximately 250 gigabytes of hard drive storage
- 256MB ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT Graphics, Dual DVI or VGA (or equivalent) video card
- Integrated Intel Gigabit NIC 10/100/1000 network card
- 16X DVD+RW (CD-ROM drive okay as well)
- One open parallel or USB port for the printer
- Printer (required for hard copy only).

Max Channels per Source: 4 plus activity (depends on transmitter model)
Activity: Available directly from each source
Cabling Specifications
Cable Type: Category 4 or 5 network cabling
Computer to Matrix Distance: 300 meters max
Matrix to Matrix Distance: 150 meters max
Computer to furthest Matrix: 750 meters max
Matrix to Receiver: 100 meters**
**Matrix to receiver distance is using new receivers such as RPC-1 and RMC receivers.

Simultaneous sampling: 4 sources
Two matrices are required for simultaneous sampling from 8 sources
