| DSI Telemetry Signal Simulator |
The Telemetry Signal Simulator simulates the output of DSI PhysioTel® Transmitters. It provides a convenient way to learn and demonstrate the use of the Dataquest System without the need for an implanted transmitter.
The TSS-1 telemetry signal simulator is an invaluable tool for system setup, user training, demonstration, and system validation. There are four different TSS-1 models available and the datasets vary according to the model being used.
DSI has a variety of simulations available to imitate the output from mouse transmitters, small animal transmitters, and large animal transmitters. The simulator provides replicated telemetry information representing various physiologic signals. The calibration values provided for each simulation are typical of the specified transmitter model; the output values are tightly calibrated.

DSI also provides a simulation of a calibration signal (1000Hz Transmitter). Normal parameter values are derived using the species-default segment duration. All simulator pressure values assume a default ambient pressure value of 740mmHg. All listed R-amplitudes are estimated.
Tolerances: Pressure +/-2mmHg, Hr +/-2bpm, ECG +/-.2mV, Temp +/-.1degC, QA +/-1ms, Frequency +/-0.2 Hz.
